Through our partnership with the Student Resource Center and Eastern Gateway Community College (EGCC), you and your family members can earn an associate degree online with no out-of-pocket costs to you.

Why the Beating the Odds Free College Benefit?

With the cost of college and student debt on the rise, the Beating the Odds Foundation realized creating an opportunity for Beating the Odds members and their family to earn an associate degree for free would be immense.  Therefore, in partnership with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Free College, and Eastern Gateway Community College (EGCC), the Beating the Odds Foundation created the Beating the Odds Free College Benefit.

Who is EGCC?

EGCC is an accredited community college, a member of the University System of Ohio, and is one of the fastest-growing public colleges in the country. It’s an open access public college governed by the Ohio Board of Regents and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
