Rocco Scalzi was the featured speaker at the “United We Can” inspirational luncheon series in Altoona, PA. Rocco spoke to students from several local schools about overcoming obstacles and never giving up on life.
The luncheon series began as a result of founder of “United We Can” Sue Griep seeing a need to invigorate others to pursue their dreams and to hear powerful stories of struggles in people’s journey to success.
The luncheons have hosted such speakers as NASA Administrator Jim Morhard, Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Michelle Duncan, Shark Tank’s Lani Lazzari, and The Voice’s Jimmy Mowery among others.
Rocco was honored to kick off the fifth anniversary season of “United We Can” luncheon and events series.
Rocco brought along an autographed Rocky Bleier football and a Miracle In the Making print to use as door prizes for two lucky students!
